Under 14's beat Tynemouth 10-2 scorers were Hannah S  6 goals, Melissa C 3 goals and 1 goal for Lucy H. M.V.P was Hannah S.

Under 12's beat North Shields Robins 3-2 scorers were Abbie J.with 2 goals and one for Eryn O. M.V.P. was Becky S.

Under 10's lost against Bedlington 5-0. The under 10's only had 6 players. M.V.P. was Rhianna T.

Hi everyone here is news on friendlies we have arranged.
This Saturday 15th September 10-12 at Kingston Park against North Shields for under 12's and under 14's under 10's will be able to take part as well.

Sunday 16th September for under 12's against Prudhoe and Newbiggin Hall Kick off 11.00 a.m. venue is Eastwood Park Next to Prudhoe Golf Club please be there for 10.45

Tuesday 18th September for under 14's against Newbiggin Hall kick off 6.00 p.m. at gala playing fields on Newbiggin lane please try to be there for 5.45.

A YOUNG football starlet has a ton of reasons' to celebrate this season after netting more than 100 goals. Abbie Bolam, 10 of Walbottle, plays for Kingston Park Girls Under 10s and has scored 104 goals in 18 league games, helping her side to second in the Northumberland Girls League's Premier Division - plus 29 for Ponteland Juva Boys in the Newcastle Mini League !
Team co-odinator Abi Haig said:"Abbie has amazing ability and without doubt a player for the future."Scoring 104 goals for us is an amazing achievement but it also means 104 assists.It has been a great team effort."
In her first season playing for the under-10's, Abbie has gone from strength to strength, earning a place at the region's Girls Centre of Football Excellence along with three team mates.
However, the success does not stop there for Abbie or the Newcastle - based squad - they came out regional winners of a five-aside competition on penalties, leaving their coach ecstatic.
Haigh said: "Everyone involved absolutely loved it. Seeing the smiles on the girls' faces when they came off the pitch makes everything worthwhile."

To simplifier team selection and to ease the burden on players as well as team managers, Kingston Park Football Club (Girls Section) request parents to contact the team managers or Coach no later than Thursday evening each week, to inform them if your child is available to play or not on the Saturday, as its difficult to expect your child to turn up on the day of the match to be accommodated in the team selection. Your cooperation would be appreciated.

On behalf of Newc. Football Development scheme there are some up coming football courses this half term

On Monday and Tuesday (19th and 20th) Feb
19th is 8+9 year olds
20th is 10+11 year olds

Lightfoot sports centre, 10am - 1pm on each day.
Cost is £2 and is being run in conjunction with Walker Central football club

The closing date for applications is Friday, so bring your £2 to training and I will get you registered on the funday!

Second one in conjunction NUWFC

Friday 23rd February at the JJB soccer dome for 9 -12 year olds
from 10.00am - 2 pm free of charge. (arrive at 9.45 for registration)

I have forms and again can register you Thursday for this funday too.
